National Christ Child Society’s signature program is newborn layettes.  Each chapter of the Christ Child Society provides impoverished mothers with essentials, such as blankets, diapers, wipes, toiletries, pajamas, socks and onesies needed to care for their newborn infants.

In Atlanta, our volunteers sew quilts and knit caps to wrap our layettes.  In 2015, we doubled the number of layettes that we distribute on an annual basis in the Atlanta area.  In 2016, our Chapter received a grant from the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia to support our layette efforts.  Layettes are given as an incentive for completion of the prenatal programs at:

Grant Park Clinic

Good Samaritan Health Center

Pregnancy Resources of Doraville

Pregnancy Aid Clinics, Roswell and Forest Park

A Beacon of Hope, Decatur, GA

Grady Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Mercy Care Clinic at City of Refuge
