Donate to support
Grady Hospital NICU nurses
We are taking donations for meals which will be delivered directly to the healthcare workers in the NICU! These healthcare heroes are stretched very thin as volunteers are not allowed to assist with rocking and feeding babies. All hands are on deck. We hope a nice meal will help boost morale.
Through the cooperation of Rosa Mia Italian Restaurant in Johns Creek, CCSA has arranged the delivery of meals covering multiple shifts. If you would like to support a NICU healthcare worker, please donate using the button to the right to support our efforts during the COVID-19 crisis.
Sew masks for
Grady NICU nurses
Under the direction of our Grady Rockers Outreach Chair Margie Jameson, we have been in communication with Grady’s neonatal intensive care unit during these critical days of the pandemic. Valuable PPE equipment is going to the healthcare workers on the front lines at Grady; homemade fabric masks for the NICU staff are invaluable at this time.
Our CCSA sewers have been filling the need for masks while others are donating fabric and supplies. Yesterday, Margie delivered 130 masks to Jackie Jackson, RN; Grady Unit Director, NICU. Jackie was so excited to receive them! Thank you sewers!!!
If you can sew and would like to help, Grady could use more masks. We would like to make enough for each NICU staff member to have one to wear, one to wash, and one extra. If interested, please contact Margie Jameson at GradyRockers@gmail.com for specific instructions. We are following a pattern and masks need to be washed in hot water pressed and bagged.
We hope you are all staying healthy and safe. We will continue to keep you in our prayers, and we ask that you pray for the children, families, healthcare workers, staff members, and faculty in all of our outreaches.
